I know this has been asked a few times but none of them are direct enough for me to make sense out of them. is it possible to take the whole front hydro brake set up from the new blaster and bolt it on to an 88? everything looks the same as long as you also get the spindles? any body have any good details on this or pictures? i am looking for some on e bay but having a hard time.

The only difference in the A arms is there is a mounting bracket for the brake hoses on the 03 and new a arms.

yea me either....there is a site called rosevillepowersports.com that gives good exploded diagrams of a bunch of quads...i'l try and compare and maybe it will help some other people too

The '88 spindles and a-arms are orphans. If you buy the hydro set up and expect the spindles to bolt up to your ball joints you will be disappointed. '88 Was the only year they didn't use a tapered shank lower ball joint on the bottom A-arm. In '90-present they went to a tapered shank lower ball joint.

What are you guys doing about the headlight

on your blasters that your're putting disk brakes on? I mounted a newer set of disks on but where the headlight bolts to the steering stem (1990 blaster) and holds the brake line. It interfers (brake line) with turning of the wheel. I noticed the newer ones have a solid mount headlight.....is everyone converting theres to the newer front end and headlight assembly?
