Hey guys. Quick question. I've recently rebuilt an old blaster that was given to me and I want to eliminate the twist throttle. I found a deal on a moto-4/big bear thumb throttle. Will this work? Both cable and lever assembly? I've read somewhere that it would work on a warrior, and see that the blaster and warrior share some similarities in parts. So any help I can get would be great.

I'm not sure if that would work or not, but i'm sure someone here would trade a thumb throttle for your twist. I'm sure you could find some deals on ebay for a stock throttle assembly also.

^^Agreed^^ I'd try trading your twist assembly for a stock Blaster thumb throttle. The Moto-4/Big Bear thumb throttle will probably bolt right up to the handlebars, provided that the OD is the same (usually 7/8"). The problem will be finding the right throttle cable. I know that a Warrior thumb throttle will fit on a Blaster, as long as you use a Blaster throttle cable. The cable screws right in, just like on the stocker. IDK about the one you found. You may have trouble finding the proper cable to go with it. Might be worth a shot if a trade doesn't work out.

PM'ed him. Conversated about it and have'nt heard from him in a while. I'm lookin' to do a trade soon. My bike is down until I can find someone to trade with or find out for sure if I should just go ebay shopping. I do appreciate 95blasterracer#107's attempt in helpin' though.
