for mine, i sanded down every rust spot and made the whole thing smooth to the touch.. maybe a bit overboard, it took me forever, but it came out very nice

Thats not going overboard. Would you rather do it once and get it done and over with, or take your blaster apart numerous times, and keep having to do it. I like the saying "If your going to do something, do it right the first time"

ya i have it in the projects section, just no progress really other than buyin paint haha. prep is everything., its gonna get an acetone bath and a lot of sanding., coat of rustoleum primer and three or four cherry red coats then three clearcoats. hey reed, did you paint your PTR pipe? haha i thought that too cuz i have the factory finish too. i was gonna use hi temp flat black.

now some people on here are gonna give me sh*t for this, but im a big Jordan fan, and a sneaker addict. also a big fan of sportbike racing and michael jordan owns and runs a AMA team. so its that sort of theme but with a old school jordan twist. im gonna put this on each side of the tank. i think it will look cool, definately not been done in the forum lol.
