JESSOP BOAT CLUB HAS CAMPING I THINK..But its the river folks.. you can do pretty much whatever as long as you respect the place. i think you can camp out next to the river..( i could be mistaken here ) there are hotels in the area if needed ( if you want to ride another day ) The boat club has a bar and a full menu of good food.. hell i ate crab legs there and had a few beers last time i was there.. good times.
i live 15-20 min from the trails.. i have a big yard.. want to camp free where your stuff is safe.. i live in the country with no real neighbors... you can do repairs and stay if you like.. BRING A TENT. plenty of parking. ill take pictures of home tomorrow when its not raining.

thick woods riding.. the trails are clear..but unmarked.. most lead back to the same area.. its big folks..i will say that.
you will find rutts! power line clearings..gas line right of ways etc. yes you can fly on most.. its a good time.

look at the dirt cleared area off in the distance.. there around 10-14 miles of trails beyond that..this is looking down from the summit..
now.. from the other direction to give you an idea..honest estimate of trails behind me in the picture.. roughly 10-14 MILES.+ the distance in this picture.. then theres more trails behind the slate mtn
As far as my ballance yfz450x..... its pretty quick..2-3rd gear will make your arms hurt just hanging on..fuel injection is GREAT!. my friend has a ktm450xc..hes piped and he doesnt think his will take mine down..
heres a video of it.. this is after the final breakin.. i did this for around 15 min for a 5th part of the break in..the guys at yamaha said to do 4.. 1 at 1/4 throttle..1 no higher then half.. then 3/4 and then full.. but i didnt pin and hold it.. i flutter'd the throttle through the whole process..these runs are not full throttle runs but will give you an idea...
this will also show you how big my yard is.. it borders a small creek + theres a big field across the road for parking.... im thinking if we get a few that want to ride a 2nd day.. its bombfire and cook out time!!

Hmmm interesting. The guys went down to Hatfield McCoy last year, but if our calendar isn't full, it might be cool to check that place out. Are there rules and regs outside of no night riding? We typically bring a camper on longer trips.

ALL the power plants are coal fired.. i know this because im a coal miner and my mine supplies them..
the one int he picture is Martins Ferry... the other ( way off in the distance )is my companies new "clean coal super effiecent powerhouse called longview power plant.. which is in the top 3-4 of the cleanest coal burning power plants in the world..its only been burning coal 2 weeks.
THERE ARE NO RULES TO THIS PLACE. some of it is public land and some private.. i know the private land owners well.. they race too and have a 3 mile loop for gncc atv/dirtbikes...BUT!!! there are locals and we try to be respectful of them.
yea my helmet was at my wifes feet ahahaha.. when i go ride.. i always wear metarcel boots...gloves..helmet and goggles.. i ordered a chest protecter

im going this weekend to take more vids and pictures of the parking at the place known as TARADACTLE.. its named by locals and was an old party spot.. i remember visions of that place as a teen.. visions because i was too drunk to remember anything ahahaha.. heh we were all that young and dumb once.. i wasnt riding at the time.. It was a place we all went to hang out next to the river..swim and fish..take girls and such..
If you want to bring a camper thats fine.. park it at my place.. tents the same..I have a water hook up.
