That amount of oil should burn off in a minute tops. If it was continuing to smoke heavy after that, you are probably burning oil from another source.

Just a quick thought... Are you oil injecting still or premixing?

it didn't smoke at all during the break in until i got on it and was switching through gears.

the oil injection is removed and running on mix gas. and it only seemed to burn for a minute or so. i started it after it smoke in the drive way and no smoke but i have not ridden it since due to being scared i was doing something wrong or something was wrong

That either means your mixture is FARRRRR too rich or you are burning something other than 2 stroke premixed oil.

Do a leak check and see where that leaves you. It's really the next step.

Usually they're damaged by sustained operation with an air leak. Not a quick blurp around the yard or down the trail.

So is it still smoking a lot, or was it only for short while. Long periods of idleing will also produce excess smoke for a short time afterwards. What type of oil and ratio are you running?

i have not ridden the bike since. i was riding it at low RPM for a bit. maybe i was loading it up and it finally burnt it off. i just didn't want to ride it until i asked some questions.

i am running 32.1 and running HP2

i have only started it in the driveway after i notice the white smoke once. i have not ridden it since. but it was not smoking while idling in the driveway.

so I'm not sure if it will smoke while under load or not.

You will get white smoke for a little while when its being warmed up idiling and reving, if it has been sitting for a good bit. My YZ250 did that all the time because it sat and the oil sank to the bottom of the tank, since it was a monster to handle. Before you take it out rock the bike back and forth if you can before warming it up. It'll go away faster good luck hope this helps.

pipes go with FMF Fatty is like $339 but you gotta pick your pipes indivually though or Toomey B1 kit $359 makes much more power than FMF does. Reeds you can buy Boyesen power reeds seperatly for $45 tops on E-bay or dennis kirk. jet probably a 140-150, pilot 42-50. Might be a bit much for an 11 year girl to handle for a few years, to her it's probably gonna feel like she's doing 80mph. I've ridden drag warriors and a buddys fully wrenched out race Honda 450R and find a Heavily modified blaster a good fit for most. As far as oils some will do that try Amzoil Dominator at 36:1 like $10 a quart.

Any up-dates ? Just noticed in first post you said ported. You talking the cylinder? Was it already done? or did you have it done? do it yourself. I would stick with the oil you're using if you're happy with it. You have a pipe on it?
