FMFfatty/SST Problem

hey, my cousin is busy with a rebuild on his 2005 -well i am helping him as he is new to spanner swinging. now a while ago, my brother ordered a FMF header off ebay under the impression it was a FATTY as my cousin already had a powercore 2 tailpiece with the stock header we thought we were sorted.

tonight when it came to fitting the pipe, i seemed to battle unusually so to get it to fit..until i noticed its a SST! i didnt even notice when i polished it up!! shame on me!

has anyone succesfully modified the fatty tailpiece to run with the SST? it seems to need to be pushed on further and needs a bend and a twist to get it to line up.

anyone got this right?

Its best to get the silencer that goes with the sst header! I have the sst full system on my blaster and had tried to put a diff silencer and couldnt get it to work or look like it should,so there for I just had to buy a sst silencer!

I knew someone was going to say that---but thats not the answer i was looking for, i wouldnt have posted if i was going to get a new one, customs cost more than the pipe did, plus shipping and the exchange rate of R7.62 to $1, its not an option.


by the way, i did not order/buy it, like i said, it is for my cousins bike

BUT, nevermind, i have made a solution and got it to fit, i will post pics up ASAP, perhaps in a new thread, may help others with a similar problem in the future
