FMF manifold leak. will it HURT the bike??

that is a sst silencer i can see it. just get some rad hose no matter what you do it wont fit right with that silencer. its the only fmf silencer tht isnt compatable with like everything

Idk what SST is. What's the difference between SST and regular turbinecore2? The fact that is doent fit sh*t? Is mine a good pipe overall? If I decide to get the powercore would that be better other than the obvious of fitment?

sale that sst on ebay and get the correct silencer for a fatty

So what u guys suggest I do? Brigde it? If I will the fatty and silencer go good together? Or, what I'm trying to avoid... buy a powercore2? But is it worth me patching it since turbocores are better? Well idk about sst. So let me ge this right, there fmf silencers for stock headers? I thought all fmf silencers where made for fattys. What if my silencer was made for stock header?? Wouldn't that be BAD for my motor? Sheesh. So ok what am I looking for? Silencers FOR fattys? Bc on ebay they don't say nething about for fattys or stock

Products - ATV - FMF Racing

that is an sst. once u put in model and year you will see it says it will only fit a sst silencer, what you have.

as you can see once you put in model and year it gives you 2 options. 1 for sst, and 1 for normal. u need normal one or you need to use some heater core hose or something to bridge the pipes

Ok so I checked the site out. I have the fatty gold series. But it doesn't show which pipe would fit what silencers. Prolly part of them to conn buyers to buy the wrong sh*t and make them buy parts to fit them properly. So u saying I have the wrong combination pipe/header? Obviously bc fitting issue but when its fitted it WILL work fine. Right? I'm really tryna avoid buying a powercore2

ok darederek i c what u mean with the SST pipe. im seeing it better now now that im on a computer. the whole time i was surfing thru my phone. so ok now we all know my pipe IS a SST and was made ONLY for SST pipe. since i have the fatty, the question is, would this combo work together? bc im not gonna bridge it if its not gonna work well together and post it on ebay. lol..

it will work a silencer is a silencer, but its not gonna bridge properly at the metal you would have to use radiator hose or such.

if u wanna get a new one you can still get ur turbine core u wanted u just need to get the non-sst one.

yea theres 2 powercore2 on ebay that im watching that i might swipe and turn around and sell my current pipe. but since the turbinecore2 is a better pipe than the powercore2, im just wondering if the "combo" will have better performance then the powercore2 with my fatty. im gonna give FMF a call in the morning see what they say.:/

tomorrow morning is sunday and fmf ain't open on sundays, hahahaaaa
the silencer will not make a difference in performance

dOOoo!!! (homer simpson) lol ok ok im gonna hit up autozone and get a hose!! in the meantime i just bought a topend gasket kit off ebay so when that comes in i might change ALL the gaskets on the top end since im doing the head/exhaust and thats when im gonna do the patch in the middle. hopefully it isnt HALF assed looking bc ima sucker for looks so if it looks like sh*t im offing it than buying the powercore.
wanna give a shout out to all u guys that helped me with this problem. ive learned alot on this site mostly from the same guys since i owned this blaster in the short 1 and a half weeks. thnks!

If it ain't broke ,don't fix it !! In other words don't change the gaskets just because you bought a top end kit. Save them for when you have to rebuild it. Use the exhaust seal for the job at hand.
