FMF Gold Series Pipe with...

I was curious about pipes and silencers on the blaster. I have an FMF Gold Series pipe on bike i am working on. My other blasters I have FMF Fatty pipes with FMF Turbinecore 2 silencers. I would like to put a turbinecore 2 silencer on the blaster i am working on.

My question is on some pipes talk about SST compatability with silencers. I have no idea what that means on the FMF pipes. Is there any issue with me using the FMF Gold pipe with turbinecore 2 silencer? What is the difference in the Gold Series pipes and the Fatty pipes if any?

The SST pipe must be used with the SST silencer, all the others are compatible with each other, I do believe.

for future reference: the sst is necked down more drastic than the fatty design on the expansion/stinger area this is done to increase backpressure and aid in more topend rpms ,theres really no added technology in the sst silencer over the typical powercore ,you should mate the correct ones together as mentioned

From what i gather from you is that i should be able to use the gold series pipe then with the turbinecore 2 silencer as it is not SST system.
