FMF flange/springs?

i had the dame problem man, i was going to email them but i got lucky and blaster199 had one i bought. i have seen plain flanges on ebay from time to time also.

What part exactly are you looking for the flange where the pipe goes onto the head or where the pipe and silencer come together?

I can take a pic of my FMF pipe where it bolts to the head but i dont have anything on mine that holds the two together....

Here is the best i could get, hope this helps out... I:I

Also i dont think the spring serves much purpose, my flange will not come off the pipe it the pipe has a lip on it that holds the flange onto it....

Oh, so you did use the stock flange and just welded it to the FMF....interesting.

If I can't find the flange, I'll just do that!

Is the stock one any more restrictive than the FMF one?? It looks like you're using like less than a half inch of the stock pipe, right?

I got it that way, ill have to go look because to me it looked like it was supposed to be that way, i didnt see any weld marks, but ill look again in a minute..... Im confused now LOL :p

The part that bolts to your head there is the stock part. It's welded to the FMF part like a half inch or so away from the flange. Normally the FMF flange bolts onto the head and then you place the pipe on there and then hold it on with a spring, and then bolt it to the mount up under the gas tank, and then clamp it in the back and that's what holds it on.

Guess when my new motor gets here next weekend ill see how good it works, but when i unbolted it, it was so solid i thought it was supposed to be that way, then when i looked the second time i could see where they welded it....
