flipped front rims??

when you flip them, it will make the front of the quad about an inch wider on each side, because from the factory the rims are a 10x5, with 3 inches to the inside, 2 to the outside. when you flip them, you reverse this so it's 3 inches to the outside, 2 inches to the inside.

hope this helps!

i just bought a 99 and the rims seemed like they had a big lip on them and i was gonna flip them but i wasent sure if it had been done already

you could, but the closer you can keep the centerline of the wheel to the center of the balljoints, the better.

and buying offset wheels would be a lot more expensive than just buying spacers

the problem with offset rims, is that the rims arent balanced on the spindle any more, and after time, jummping and what not, the bearings start to go, and edventually u have to get new bearings. ive had my rims fliped for a while, and had no problems yet, but i also havent jumped it yeat with them like that.

My dad has itp t9s his offest is the same as ours flipped with out having to be flipped..an ive jumped his plenty of time an havent had any problems..
