Fishin Pics!!!

took my son and neighbor fishing today, to a power plant dam
i got spanked..........
fish count was:
me, caught 2, lost 2
my son, caught 4, lost 2
my neighbor, caught 2
all on berkley power worms

now i gotta mention that matt wanted to go riding, i had to talk him into going fishing, he stated he hadn't been fishing since he was a little kid, and didn't even have a liscence or rod, but i fixed him up.
he heads around the bend in the lake where we couldn't see him, next thing i hear is what sounds like a concrete block being thrown into the water, followed by him screaming his head off...."oh my god, oh my god, hurry up, come here, come here"
i thought he had fell in and was drowning, only to get back there and see him standing speechless, pointing into the weeds, at which time i sacrificed a pretty new pair of air jordans to go in after this ..........
23" !!!!!!
thats his whole fist in it's mouth, i had to talk him into sticking his hand in there, he said ..."hell no, it'll bite my hand off" aaaaaaahahahahahaaaa
thats a full size power-ade bottle, and my now soaking wet size 10 air jordan beside it............
i've caught a few in my day around this size, and had one on bigger than this one at this same place a few years back

we threw them all back, including the big mother of all bass, even though he wanted to get it mounted, i explained that was a big breeder female, and to keep it was like keeping thousands of little bass
i'm taking him and my camera to walmart in the morning and he's gonna have 8x10's made of the pics I:I

I SUCK at fishing. Still love doing it, and love eating just about any type of fish.
Looking at that eel makes me hungry, they are delicious! Cut the up and smoke them slow over a low fire, hmmm.
I have a 12' aluminum boat and we go out fishing for mackeral, cod, northern shark and flounder. Our flounder look different, but delicious too. Sweet, tender.
Also trout, bass and pickerel in the fresh water.
I've got no big fish picts, just this little fish pict from a year ago last spring.
These are little brook trout. Rarely over 8", small brooks will give one from every pool.
Cook them over a low smoky fire, no seasoning needed. Cook up tender and smokey in about 15-20 minutes.
I was wet to the skin and cold to the bone on a rainy (Canadian) spring day.
While the other guys went fishing, I got a fire going against a windbreak rock.
How the fish got larger and larger reminded me of these guys:

I pretty much only ever go for trout (I live in Utah, and I fish above 8000 feet most of the time)
Heres a few of my favorites.
This is a tiger trout I caught at a lake thats about 10,000 feet. He was about 17 inches.
Heres a picture of the lake. Its really pretty up there
Heres one I took in the same mountains around 9500 feet on a river in a different drainage than the lake above. Its one of my favorites because I did it on a fly and I was pretty new to fly fishing so catching him was pretty awesome.
