^ evo 8's are dirty. we have one that comes to our shop regularly. i just did an alignment on it a couple weeks ago, had to snap a shot while the boss was away. Good thing about my job is taking cars for road testsSweet baby jesus this thing has balls.
Evrytime i see one they jsut keep amazing me! omfg i want one so badd! but like i said, the ones in mint condition and running hard are not for sale, the one being sold is often beat to sh*ti know my next car is going to be this

i think im most likely going to get golf, but id really like to get a supra like 89 customs. hopefully i can find a vr for the right price
the sound vr's make is addicting....ill have another one some day...and itll be in a mk2 jetta coupe....

im not a neon guy, but i own one there just as much of a "tuner" as a civic.. after market for them is huge, anyhting from show car to drag car can be done, most common is auto x or road race since you can throw strut braces on them and acage and go scca solo racing right off the showroom floor
my neon is fun to drive, ran door to door with a 99 civic si dohc vtec with cams, intake, full exhaust and tuned, and smoked the guys brother with a integra with a gsr swap...
id rather have a v8 though lol... wanna get my hands on another crown vic p71 or a 80s turbo dodge
Just get a regular car like most people. Get a truck or something. Dont turn into one of those kids who think ricers or tuners are the fastest most bad ass car and think they are cool because they have a hood scoop, stupid ass exhaust and a spoiler.
The rx-7 is a nice car but in order to do any work on it you will have to understand rotary engines. I've known ASE master certified mechanics that have torn into them and they still sit in the corner of the garage in pieces years later
i had a 87 corolla for my first, own an 02 silverado now but with gas would love to have a 92 toyota mr2 turbo to cruise to work in.

save your money, buy a sh*t box for $6-800 that way when you beat the piss out of it its not a big lose when the motor blows or the trans drops!
I speak from experience! The truck in my signature is the truck i built and the first one I owned! I had it a month after getting it done, then rolled it on a gravel road because I thought I was cool and had a BADASS truck!
I wish I would have just bought a POS ranger or S-10 and beat on that, and saved my truck for later on in life!
