First car?

yeah man, just get a cheap beater. to be honest, i think its cooler to have a car that your not afraid to beat on than spend your money on a nice car and are afraid to drive it. my old thunderbird saw the mx track a few times, and about 30 sets of used rear tires because i always burnt them off, and even ran through a few fences...


as long as its not like you beat the piss out of it because mommy and daddy have money to fix it or buy you a new one
 
i with getting a beater for the first car!
i know a girl her parents bought her a brand spankin new BMW and with in a week she flip it into about a 5 ft ditch. she had 3 people with her, 3 of the 4 had just cuts and scratches but the other guy got really messed up, he is physically disabled now
 
Whats up with all the get something cheap and realiable as a first car?

f*ck that, do what i did, buy a 280rwhp 87 turbo supra and give it 350 to the rear wheels a year after owning it. now thats a first car.

dont buy something gay you'll regret it. do what you want not what other people tell you.

and btw. knock on wood, i have had no problems with my 23 year old TOYOTA supra since i bought it. i've had it for 6 months and it hasnt been down a single day and i've beat the sh*t out of it and modified it more and drove the sh*t out of it some more and its still goin on strong. gota love toyota's.

thats what im saying, spend the money and get a fast fun and reliable car that will last, i plan on having this car a while not just to beat on. im lookin at a passat now too

First of all. Fast, Fun and Reliable cannot be all in the same car, unless of course its a supra lol. but seriously, usually thats a hard find.

And dont get a passat. Unless of course you want to change pcv system parts every year, control arms every couple months and have a oil pump pickup get clogged with sludge from the turbo and cause your head to f*ck off from having no oil, in turn, needing a new engine. Passats, audi A4's and jetta's, any vw or audi with the 1.8t is just a pain in the ass. if you going to get a passat, get the vr6 or maybe even the w8! lol. plus that engine is soft.
 
5.0 mustang mine :D unless you need something cheap on gas. mabey an eclipse 4banger with a turbo my bro had one 5 speed and it was fun til he blew it up it was pretty much his beatter car while his mustang was geting all pretty.
there pretty good cars my other borthers got a 2000 its a nice ass car hes got a wingswest front lip on the car hes waiting to get the side skirts and the rear lip put on and get them painted. got a catback exhaust on it has a nice deep sound to it not all ricer and high pitched its not the car thats ricer its what the owner does to it get what you want bro.

i would only get a vr6 if i get one
 
pretty much all vw's honda's cavalier neon sunfire gt cobalt corolla

Dad had a sunfire gt with the dohc that thing ran good and was really good on gas
Just went to dc and back in a corolla and it was getting 28 mpg
