Not to sound like an A$$ hole but if i had a bad ass ride like that i sure wouldn't want the belt squeaking when i got it back from having the motor build! That was the only annoying part of the video! That things sounds Nasty tho! (like i wanna hump it nasty).I:I

its not the belt, its the whistke from the blower

rofl @ the belt comment. sounds gnarly. What do you do? performance mechanic or what? im apprentising for a mechanic right now and would eventually like to work in/own a performance shop.

yes im an ase master certified auto and diesel technician with 25 years experience in the racing industry actually more if u include torquing heads on my dads old nhra prostock car when i was 9 years old

I'd have to vote turbo spool at #1 and supercharger whine at #2...

I have seen some centrifugal supercharging systems that use blow off valves. I would think it depends on how much charge piping the system has and how much "hammer" the system is expected to handle daily.

That vette has a front mount IC with a top feed into the intake manifold, right? If so, that's not as much charge pipe as some applications...

your correct some superchargers do use them as a matter of fact this one has one on the feed pipe from the blower to the intercooler what i was saying is a supercharged car doesnt make the big whoosh sound a turbo car does when the valve opens

damn man... i'm not a vette guy but that thing is sweet. it seems like you do good work. i thought about going to school for high performance automotive but didnt see a career in that field, but it looks like you definately made something of it

thanks for the compliment. in the automotive field if u have a reputation for doing good work the amount of money u can make doing side work is rediculous. u wouldnt beleive how many hacks there are out there that call them selves mechanics
