Finally got pics up of my blaster!

This is my 98 blaster i got for 125.00
Here it is when i bought it before tearing into it

And this after

Ive powder coated the frame,swinger,carrier,pegs fmf exhaust,13/41 gearing,jetted carb to 280,vf3 reeds,k&n,.040 over bore wiseco,g force axle,painted plastics and a bunch of stuff im too lazy to type.

Anyhoo whats everyone think?

Thanks guys I appreciate the compliments and wouldn't have been able to do so without the wealth of knowledge on this forum.I may not post a lot but I'm here reading back pages upoon pages of older posts looking for ideas and such.so again I say thanks to all who make up this forum you guys have all in one way or another been a tremendous help!

Anyone have any ideas or improvements I can make?I know it needs an extended swinger.but does any of the pros (cough cough phragle) see anything I missed or could improve on?I'm open to suggestions.if it helps I do about half and half between track and trail.

Ok as for mods go I've powder coated everything,itp hole shot tires out back kendas up front on itp wheels,ebay 13/41 gears and chain,.040 wiseco piston,completely over hauled lower end seal bearrings,280 jetting stock carb,motion pro cables tors gone,shorty billet levers,g force axle,k&n filter,ebay nerf bars,v force 3 reeds,carb spacer,fmf fatty gold pipe,sst2 silencer,3in widening lugs up front,renthal pro taper bars,extra gusseting on the frame and skid plate,hd clutch don't remember from what brand but it has 10% heavier and more I'm sure I'm forgetting.as for price I'm not sure I ebayed most of it all of it was new parts though.if I was to guess id say 2kish biggest expense was the purchase of a new salvageable engine worth building.the last owners used a truck to try and pull start it and grenaded the motor.

Nah the only influence was my cousins blasters and banshees growing up.they raced mx down in casey illinois here and I always loved the way those things looked and sounded.lol. my next project will be a banshee.I really want to build one of those up.

What paint, sand paper and other materials did you use to paint the plastics, hopin you can give me the steps also, thanks a bunch!

ya like the step by step direction?
cause i've painted plastics and they always seem to chip when you bend them.. so i would love a step by step proccess with paint brands and what grid the sandpaper is, if you used any..

I used the duplicolor paint from the parts store along with their primer and clear.I've used it before and it holds up well.as for step by step all I did was washed the plastics with my power washer dried them and the wiped many times them again with acetone.after that I took the red scotch brite pads and scuffed them real well so the primer could bite.after that I cleaned them again with acetone and shot on the paint.I forget how many coats of each layer but the more the better.I layed on quite a few and kinda thick especially on the clear.if you got the tools to paint you're set.

Can anyone think of anything I should do to my blaster looks or performance wise?I considered the fender chop but don't know.
