One of my other hobbies is motorized bicycles and I chat with Jag on occasion.
He has done a lot of reading and experimenting but I would use the information on that page as a starting point, not a definitive guide on the subject. Blasters are a lot different than motorized bikes.
I can never put in enough plugs for Gordon Jennings book 2 stroke Tuners Guide

It first came out in 1974 and was ground breaking.
It is still 99% valid and the best place to start learning about 2 strokes.
