I just bought a 300ex the other day and its completely stock and is definitely lacking some needed power. My first few mods are gonna be handlebars, a k&n air filter, and an exhaust. The only problem is i cant make up my mind on an exhaust. Any opinions?

i like the sound of whitebro's fmf and procircuit id get the mods you want but the pipe and filter first bars can wait

I'm pretty interested in the new fmf powercore 4's. My cousin has one on his 400ex and it added like 4 hp and a substantial amount of torque and it sounded great but its still affordable. What do u guys think about an fmf?

fmf is the most populuar if you are on a budget, i don't see a problem with them, look into a dmc, if they have one for the 300 you will sh*t urself. but thye are money you might not want to spend, but its up to you.

Get a web racing cam and a 12:1 piston for it. My 250x (since i changed the gearing from 14/33 to14/38)kills my modded blaster by about 15 bike lengths and it has these and a pumper carb and custom exhaust.

you probly want to rebuild it first before you do anything else, it wont make any sense to put a new exhaust on with a old assed piston
