i need to know what kinda engine temp is normal for a blaster and at temp is getting to hot and were would you check it at the pipe were it comes out of the jug or on the head near the spark plug or somewhere else? im using a blue-point infered thermometer

i dont think you could check engine temp on a air cooled bike can you???
i have the pro-circuit temp stickers and it says not ment for air cooled engines...

If the paint is pealing off of the head it's to hot!
the jug and head are sand blasted therfore no paint

yes you can check temp you have to cause if its to hot it blows up and those stickers wont work on air cooled because they are hotter on the out side than water cooled

about all you can check is EGT

how you supposed to do that drill the pipe and tap it than install a temp probe like a diesel

I would like to know the temp? I was thinking of using a air cooled snowmobile temp gage that goes to the spark plug or the head stud.

i use to race go karts and we used a tach and temp gauge it was a digital display that mounted in the center of the steering wheel the tach pickup was zip tied to the plug wire and the temp probe was like a big eyelet that the spark plug went threw and then into the head and it was a air cooled highly modified 5 hp briggs so i think that snowmobile setup sounds about the same
