engine runs better in 3rd and up than 1st and 2nd... why?

so yeah, ive been riding my blasty all morning and i definately notice it does not sound/run as good in 1st and 2nd as in the higher gears. i mean it pulls through the first two ok but it kinda sounds funky not that nice two stroke sound. but once you hit 3rd thats all gone and you're off like a shot. any ideas?

fresh oil, i just did some work on the engine. new top end and such. it doesnt really dog in the first two gears it just noticeable runs better in 3rd and up. nice sound, good powerband, its just weird. i mean you pound thru the first 2 gears fast anyhow but i would like to figure this out.

probably because you have to much top speed and not enough torque (acceleration)

What sprocket's are you running? If you want more punch down low go down a tooth size in the front or up a few in the back.
