Hi guys.

Im looking to maybe have some work done to my blaster.

First off whats the differnce between +3 crank and +4
For the +4 for you have to have case machining & combustion chamber.

Also looking into having Head machining done http://www.iane.co.uk/store/yamaha-yfs-200-blaster-specialist-page/head-machining/prod_48.html <<<Is that just ported?

And having Cylinder work. Yamaha Blaster tuning - Blaster Cylinder work - Blaster Engine tuning / Building - Yamaha YFS 200 Blaster Specialist page - Ian E Performance Motorcycles & Parts <<< Is that just porting to?

If you could check links please!

These are the mods i was thinking

+3 vitos crank
Head machining
Cylinder work

All advise really wellcome thanks.I:I

I good port job and a head redesign will make a big improvement . You will have to get the head chamber milled for the plus 3 and 4. Plus 3 doesn't need any case milling.

What you want to get done is a good start but you will really feel it when you upgrade the bolt on's to match it. Bigger carb, uni filter, pipe, ect.

I have v fovce 3,s and fmf gold - Powercore 2 , and k&n so far

was looking to go

+3 vitos crank
Head machining
Cylinder work
Cfm air box with uni filter
28mm carb
+3 or +4 timing

And head chamber milled as you said

What sort of power would i be looking at then?

the fmf is kinda a starter pipe youd get a lot more out of it with a toomey or a dynoport probably the 1st. just a preferance. The +4 crank is already 60 bucks more but then you would have to send out your cases to be trenched/machined down a mm. to have it work and it only makes 2 or 3 cc's more power than the +3. But if you have it apart and you can get deals on the parts I'd go for it.Head machining is just for bumping comp. up a bit which might bring a full 2Hp or so. But for porting your gonna have to see what your needs are like what gears I'm useing the most and where do I need more power at to compensate and of corse what you ride. A groomed flat track, a rutted MX track, with small hills/jumps or or you ruffing it in the woods.with long straights and winding trails. There's porting for almost everything but you have to be honest with your self to. OK hoped this helps :D

right bend exhaust and big carb goes good with all mods, start with that first then move up, you don't wanna do the top end then have to rejet for diff. carbs/exhausts combos and risk frying up the top end, just get the right supporting mods to begin with.

im in a change of mind now was thinking

liquid cooled head - Really like the sound of liquid cooled head and i think it looks good.
+3 vitos crank
cilinder work
30mm carb
cfm air box and uni filter

And the fmf gold seires and v-force 3,s that i have any way.

what you guys think?

Not bad, you won't see as much power as your last list, but I'd be very happy with that setup.
