im so fed up with my quad, everytime i take it somewhere it breaks on me, i was 2 hours away riding at an event when within the first hour my quad started making a clicking noce and will not start any more, there is now no compression and te clickwent along with the rpms, i am assuming its the crank bearings or something along that lines and now needsa top end

needless to say i did not get my moneys worth

im so pissed cause its always breaking im about to comit a sin and drop a four stroke in it!

It might be a sin, but a yfz 250 motor in that thing would haauull azzz!!!! Got some good pics of a yz 125 motor in one that ripped. I cant get my pics small enough to post them.

i was thinking a warrior motor, but im not sure if the swing arm on the warrior goes through the motor or not, i dont think a 250f would be that fast?, would it?

i no my motor had some clicking when the compression got low and it wouldn't start easy any more .. i just dropped rings in and i was good to go .. u pull the motor apart to see whats up ..

well, last time it was apart the cylinder was already showng some wear so i know it needs bored and new pistons and rings but i am really tired of this engine fu***** me over every time i try to go some where, two weeks ago it was spark, last week it was reeds, this week its the top end and the crank!

It would have to be a yz 250f race motor. Its liquid cooled and would spank a 350 warrior motor. But the price of one will spank somthing else. For the $$ a warrior motor will work fine.

you ever take a look at a warrior motor? my buddy has one, the bottom end of that thing is huuuuge. you would no doubt have to stretch the frame to get that engine to fit, and my blaster is dead even acceleration and top speed with him. not worth it. if you want to go balls to the wall, get a yz250 motor. or just fix the blaster.

im most likely going to get an xr600 or like a newr yzf450 or yfz 450 motor, but i now have my mind set on a motor swap for a four stroke, mainly because i enjoy working on them better even though there is more to them.

to much money and modification, the 600 is air cooled, so no rad, and its a motor i am familiar with, although i will soon be a technician, i will have to know every motor out their lol.
