Yea, i was wondering the same thing because i am debateing on buying an LA topend as well and i have a spare bottom.

Yes, Thats how my motor is done now and it looks decent but if i decide to build another blaster i want to go all out and chrome everything includeing the frame and i would need a good polish job to really make it complete.

250.00 for a set of cases. it takes me about 6 - 7 hours to do a set

Looks awesome!!! Are you going to mod the crankcase breather for more clearance by the huge reed cage on the la sleeve cylinder???? Its a biotch to get the hose on the breather after the cylinder is on....
