Look at how thin it gets in the spot between the balancer and crank and the spot between the hole for the alignment dowel pin and crank..

Nice pics DUALSTROKE!!! I wonder how long it took someone to hand grinding trench that case? lol
I will never trench a case again!!! I trenched my case, and didnt like it..
@general lee The +3 cranks 4 out of 5 times you will have to do some hand grinding to clear the rod. There are cases where it will clear but it's not worth it to get the lower end together and find out.I have installed many of them and only one has ever cleared with no grinding.
Tho if one looks, the point (or area) where they seize is where there is the most material in the piston. I:I
Old joke: How do you drive a Polack crazy? Put him in a round room and tell him there's a penny in the corner !! I:I
Ahh yes, back in the days ..............
I did a T-500 drag bike, .002 off from crown to just below rings, then hand sanded skirt each side .0005, honed pin hole for slide fit, add oil holes for pin.
Now pistons come tapered and oval, not much young uns, just enough.
I always have to laugh at the term 4 point or 4 corner seize on a piston. How can there be a corner on a round object?? :-/

So i bought a cylinder on stock bore , head and reeds with boot for 175$, waiting to get it so i can make sure what size piston to put, so i guess ill run a wiseco pro lite since ive been using wiseco in pretty much everything . If the rid bearing is still good i might not buy a 3mill crank right away and slap new bearings on the old crankWiseco's can fail too! Piston failure is not just for cast pistons like a few folks would like you to believe.
Failed wiseco pistons...
