so i was putting some e-30 in my truck today and saw that e-85 is 105 oct and its like 180 a gal....what would happen if a guy ran this in a blaster:-/

ya and if you did want to use it you would need to jet up to make up for the dif composition of the fuel

*beat me to it ruthless haaha

ya e85 fuel is starting to blow up in the import tuner world, because of its cooling properties, because of its atomization. they tune engines to run it, but usually forced induction cars. high capacity turbo four cylinders, they just up the fuel a lot, but guys are making 400-500+hp on stock bore single turbo four bangers. my buddys got a 10 sec CRX tuned on e85. resourceful tuners...

its the alcohol in it thats bad that is the dumbest thing the Govt. ever came up with like ruthless said you need twice as much stay away from it 91 if you have less than 140 psi comp. and thats all you need, trying to build a blaster is kind of silly, to short of wheelbase, its like building a jap car it costs a fortune and they still are crap, have fun on your blaster you wanna go fast get a banshee.

i like to run it in my 4cyl s10 on occasion when gas was really high i could get it for about $.60 a gallon cheaper than regular gas and only lose about 3-4 mpg. one of the great parts is when I'm towing i get about the same mpgs as gasoline because of the add little bit of power i get it keeps me from dropping down in gears as much, not to mention it comes from here and not over seas.

Cost a fortune and there still crap? Obviously you've never owned or ridden a built blaster.

the only thing that crap about blasters is there resale value..

banshees are a nice quad but there far from the best the only thing a banshee is good at is making good power.

be careful that stuff will eat up older style fuel lines, a hot hot blaster is 45hp ok now what, a hot banshee is 90 hp I dont think there is much comparison

ya your right about the power comparison. but do you have any idea the cost to build a 90 hp banshee? and then whats it good for? drag and dune? def not trails. and secondly, the cost to build a 30-40 horse blaster is less than the cost of a older, stock, hard ridden banshee (assuming you already have the blaster). have you ever ridden a built blaster? probly not, but 35 horsies to a lil blaster is a TON of fun. I guess im qestioning your motives for trash talking the very machine that made this forum possible.
