Hey guys,
I found a guy with some dt200 parts and I need to know all the parts I am going to need to do the top end swap not the whole motor swap. He has a lot of spare parts I just need to know what I need.

Yea I might just use his spare bottom end. It needs a new crank but the top end was just bored out with a new piston and gasket. I can just use my crank right?

Ok he said he has a running one that he would sell to me for $300 comes with all the wiring. Do you think that is a good price? I has a brand new wiseco piston.

i think its a good price stock the dt200's came with about 30 something horse power

are you sure ?? a 200cc engine with 30hp .....the only difference it has from a blaster is the powervalve which helps the bottom end ....idk if its 30hp

use the blaster trans it has better gear spread, also thats about right on power.i had one and kick my self for selling it.the early polaris cyclones were 37 hp out of a 250 when they went to the trail blazer the detuned it to 17hp and it was way heavier, the funny part when guys wanted more they sent them out for porting and the porters copied the cyclone and then they use its jetting

I don't understand why Yamaha Didn't make the damn blaster liquid cooled anyway. Yeah stick with the blaster transmission, much easier to gear "sprocket wise".

because they would have to have a better suspension setup, and it would cost alot more to buy a blaster, and the blaster already has to much motor for the suspension.
