I think the front feneders are dumm hey hardley protect u from mud and rocks and crap or atleast mine dont what do u guys think?

idk bout that enless your talking about the older years my friends 2006 special edition(xKroniK13x) blocks a lot
^^^ all year front fenders are the same. and yes the do help a bunch compared to not having any. mostly when you go through puddles and mud it stops it from flying off your tires onto your legs. but if you dont mind mud (like me) then it no big deal.
mines a 96 and my dads is a 03 his seems to block more but its retarded they are so high up they should be lowere but its ok i like getting mudy
Mine is a 98 and they dont block a lot of mud. I mean they do a little but not all of it. But a little mud never hurt anybody.
Everyone has their opinion so ill voice mine on this subject... personally i dont care for the way the front fenders look either, makes the front look higher than the back & just the shape of them sucks BUT they do help with rocks,water & mud. I like how a Blaster looks without them, gives it a mean racey type look since you can see the pipe so much better but its all in preference!
I dont think the 88-06 blaster fenders are different. Up until 03 they only made blasters with that small hood which i think is ugly and the headlight on the handlebars. thats pretty much the only thing different
Yeah I don't care too much for the front fenders, I actually like the look, but they don't do much and really get in the way. I feel for the big guys on blasters with full fenders... gotta suck.
I hate the look of all the fenders so I took mine off untill I can get the Maier race ones that look like a raptor/yfz mix. My gf likes them though so she wont let me take hers off. I really like the look of no fenders though. I think it looks mean.

for some reason haveing long travel a arms with shaved front fender you do get no mud at all ,just what kicks upfrom the rear tires, has anyone else notice that too??
im not i big fan of the look and they really make the cockpit cramped for bigger riders, but they do help with rocks, i usually take mine off when i go to the dunes though

I haven't had any problems with mud or rocks. Having the front end widened out really helps. The mud just flys on both sides of you
yah i swapped my front tires and that helped i took the fenders off for a week or so and i didnt like the look much better so i put them back on but i wish they were lower in front of the tires in the newer years 03 through 06 i think they changed the fenders some how they block alot more
