Don't buy a blockoff kit! Dont even make one!

im a big guy on cleanliness with my bike so i used the vitos kit, end of story cost me 30 dollars, looks good and runs great, just do it right, end of story..

Wow, I never thought so many people want to give their money away! As for all the "do it right" comments and "It looks good".
1st This is just as effective. It is not "doing it wrong".
2nd a couple of 10 cent vacume caps look just like the vacume caps that come in the 30 dollar "kit" and no one can see the 30 dollar piece of aluminium...
At least the info is here for those who want it .

i have never bought one of those kits because the diy is just as effective if its done right ,im not knocking anyone that has the kit because its nice and as mentioened has al lthe goodies ,personaly i just cant justify 30 bucks plus shipping on something yo u can do for free in an hour yourself .biggest thing is however you choose to do it just get it blocked as soon as possible ,the oem pump is a very dated archaic design and doesnt work very well like they do on sleds .it changes the ratio wildly often plugging up and failing at high rpms and seizing a good topend from lack of lubrication

Funny it was the same thing with my dad, he was dumbfounded that I removed it. Then he told me I should mix 50-1 lol. I told him that 50-1 is no good for a air cooled motor, and that most builders will tell you 32-1 is the best for an air cooled motor...

Nah, the previous owner installed a block off kit and I checked his work. Looks good.

I see both sides of what people claim. I guess it's all a matter of preference. I don't see a problem with a DIY job that is done right. But if someone feels better about a full kit, instructions and a brand name, then that's cool too.

i think its a good idea and probally what i will do when i put my engine back together since i lost the plastic gear anyhow.... those kits are a ripoff no matter what.X(
