I have drum front brakes and dont have the money right now to upgrade to disc. I will admit Im impressed with the drum brakes though. The other day I was running it hard and noticed the brakes faded a little. I was wondering if a high perf. set of shoes are made by someone? I see high perf. rear pads but no front shoes.

i had tusk carbon shoes from rockymountainatv.com that worked better than stock ones, and cheap too

I have slotted ones on the Blasty.

slotted ones would be good, one of the main problems with the stock front drums are when water gets in, they stick, my one used to grab when wet, and it would do an unexpected, one wheel stoppie, very crazy, and the slots would help get the water out better

Those slotted are probably versah. Think thats how you spell company. If you get regular pads get the sintered metal ones. Sand the drum with some 80/100 grit before you put them back together.

I went out this weekend and rode the hell out of the bike for 3 straight hours. at one point I flat abused those front drum brake. They held up great, there every time I needed them. This mod gets moved down the list of "to do's". Thanks for help guys.
