Diy rear brake cable

Has any one tried to diy a shorty cable? I know they are only like 30 bucks, but has anyone thought " hell i can build that" . If it hasn't been done yet I will post pics and step by step after it has been tested for a few hard rides.

i have done it with the factory cable just cut it down to length. loop it through the pin and a cable clamp it worked great i never got any pics of it but it never failed me on the track or screwing around.

i did it on my other blaster. i had mine shortened for 10 bucks and used it. i wish i still had it to use on my new blaster
