Do the different colored shocks tell how old the blaster is or are there certain years tht the Blasters had those shocks (yellow,red,white,and some times silver)???:-/

just depends mate my mate has a 2006 model blaster has red shocks. i had a 2002 and they have white. think there based on the age but you never know as some people want to have the color changed
2005 has white springs, all as bad as each other, replace with something better or get all your teeth removed!
My 92 pink blasty has front pinks and rear brown... from rust my 2001 has white all round, i believe its a 2001, will be contacing yamaha soon to find out

my 88 has factory pink shocks in the front
i think there just red, the blaster you just purchased looks exactly like mine and mine is a 89 so you sure yours is 88? and also they might have turned pink from weathering?

Thanks but my both have the UK vins .. their only 9 digits and no on here or goggle it seems knows how to decode them.. but yamaha did my pink one for me
