I know its still a little rich but what do you guys think?

Looks about right, Always better rich than lean... If runs "balls out" run it that way for about a tankfull, then check it for changes. I:I

Well me and my little brother were out and he had his Rm250 and i was able to hold him off a lengths until 4th and then he pulled past me so im definately pleased with it im hoping theres a noticeable change up top after the 35mm carb swap.

is that plug chop after only 1 full throttle, 6th gear run ???

cause the smoke ring isnt clearly visible the whole way around, it's more like the one whole side is colored
which the color looks to be a tad rich, which is fine

and the 35 is gonna suprise you, you'll never feel the full effects of your mods with a stock carb

Yes sir!One pull all the way up to 6th tach said 8k isnt redline 9k?

Yea the 35mm carb is a must and ill be doing it this winter.

I always run on the richer side and I would be more than happy if that plug came out of my motor.

Roll on the 35mm, with that the RM 250 should always be behind you :)

How much leaner cold i safely run the main jet down to or am i close enough that the bump in power wont be worth the durability and longevity of the engine?Id like the engine to last according to the hr meter ive got on this blaster i have 27.5 hrs since building it in 09 so id like to just ride it for a while but if it wont hurt to go down a few then id consider it.

Also i built my little bros rm250 and i gotta say its a beast you really think with a 35mm carb swap i could keep up or pass that bike?I seriously hope youre right but i just dont see it the bikes got a full pro circuit pipe, new nikasil bore and pro x piston boysen reeds and a uni filter and with nothing more than that its a beast and a power house for a 250.My kdx is able to keep up with the back tire from a dig to my 6th and his 5th gear wot but my kdx is 67mm wiseco, fmf desert pipe,pc silence, uni, boysens, gear swap, and all new kips. His bike is fast and he weighs 150lbs to my 220lbs but in the woods or tight trails he cant touch the old kdx.
