i want to make the front longer and put some yfz450 shocks in the front so im asking you guys if the +6 diamond j widening kit and shock convo is good. can you jump with it or will it break is the +6 to big that it would break easy so i should get the +4.5. does anyone have this how is it holding up.is it worth the money or should i just buy extended a arms.

Well I don't have the setup but I've never heard of anyone saying that it wasn't good. I would go with 4.5 only because 6 is going to be HUGE. I would get extended a-arms if you have the money, but for the little money that you have to pay for diamond j widening kit, you can't beat it, so you might as well just go with the kit, and I know the kit can hold up to some jumping, but if you're going to do some SERIOUS jumping go with the a-arms

i have just the +6 diamond j wid kit with out shock conversion. its great. it wont break. the metal is thick and powder coated. i jump with mine and it has yet to break. good investment. you wont be dissapointed. the only downfall is the tie rod extensions are a little weak. i fixed this but just adding bolts the entire threaded portion.

get some yfz450 shocks to go along with the kit. if i could buy the kit, id defently buy the yfz450 shocks. but the kits expensive because you would need a rear widening kit too or it would look straight up dumb.

I don't have anything on my rear yet.... It dosen't look that bad really... but you can notice a really big difference with the kit on... you can take corners a lot harder and with the yfz 450 shocks the ride is 10 times better... I can't wait to get my +4 swingarm on with the 400ex rear shock to make the total ride better.

The 6" kit is the same as getting +3 a arms isnt it?

As in it is 3" wider on each side after u put it on?
