ive been wanting to get my blaster wider. Where i ride here in Missouri the trails are steep and nasty rockey so i cant go very wide, so i think a +6 diamond j kit would be too much. but maybe the +4 kit? but i think getting aftermarket a arms would be stronger and more reliable but at a higher price. my other concern is my front brake cables, i am unsure if they will be long enough for a diamond j kit or the alba a arms. so what do you guys thing, alba a arms or diamond j kit?

+ a-arms over any bolt on kit ! .....IMO.
not sure if stock cables work on + anything, it's been so long since i had them,
might be time to go front hydros with longer lines, they go hand in hand with + width

Ive looked at the +3+1 asr a arms but they are outta my price range and i think they will be to wide for the tight nasty trails i ride. And i dont know about brake cables on something that wide. And awk i have considerd hydros but im 14 years old and im on a budget.

stock lines wont work with going wider. and if they do you will stretch them a lot

get a job, i was 15 when i got asr, works, KOR motor, etc.etc.

I guess i didnt word my recent posts correctly. I can afford asr arms, works shocks, and a bunch of other stuff but i want to spend all my money on it i would rather save the majority of my $ for a vehicle.so id like to make my blaster wider for a fairly low price

Whilst the A arms are the preferred choice the 4" Diamond is a cheaper option.

Not sure about brake cables but the stock hydro lines will reach out to +6".

cheapest easiest way is to buy wheel spacers,to widen, then you can take them off if you sell or keep them on.
even the diamond j kit comes with rear wheel spacers to widen it :)
this is mine with 3in front 5in rear spacers on it.:)

Ok ive been look at some albas and these a arms both upper and lower ball joints are threaded. But they say they will fit all years of blasters:confused: but only the 03+ blaster have threaded upper and lower ball joints...right? Http://m.ebay.com/itm/181455832161?nav=SEARCH

the alba guy was on here, he said there's a bushing included that allows the threaded upper ball to work on our pinch bolt spindles.

And speedy i am curently running wheel spacers in the rear.i have also ran them in the front but the bump steer was dangerous so i took them off

oh:oops: I dont know if one of my tie rods was out of whack since i put them on immediately when i bought it but, i had to adjust one tie rod :)I jump the heck out of mine and no bump steer :)Although i paid a lot for my spacers

i found the front spacers are fine for jumping and on a mx track messing around.but when i got on the rockey trails with tree roots everywhere i was getting throw around like a rag doll:eek:
