DG nerf bars install ?????

ok im going to seem stupid but im asking anyway cause i rather do it right. i just got a set of dg nerf bars that were used it has the center piece on it to connect the two bars where does the center piece bolt to does it go to the mount on the frame? or do i just use u bolts to hold it to the frame rails? if i need to i can get a pic if that helps but im trying to break off the rust for the peg adapters and the center piece so i can sand them and paint them.then all i got to do is polish up the bars and install my new nets.

Pics will be helpful. Most nerfs mount to the frame using u-bolts or to the front motor mount.

its ok i feel stupid now i looked at it for 5 more mins while i was cutting the old nets and it is ubolts to the frame
