DAMN the Blaster Gremlins

X( X( Well my son Larry came back from riding his Banshee and a bud riding the Blasturd and says it's vibrating bad. So with the knowledge gained here I figure the balancer gear took a dump, N B D. WRONG dont know exactly what happened other than the clutch side balancer bearing took a dump and also broke the case out around the bearing. So now the fun begins .

Any imput would be appreciated. Are blaster cases matched? Or can one side be replaced without problems? Thought I'd do shift star while I was in there.

Case halves can be replaced independently.

Cases can also be repaired in that area with enough time and patience.

I beleive there is thread already covering how to repair that area. You aren't the first to have this problem and damn sure wont be the last.

Ok, I'll get Larry to take some. Put them up later. On a side note, both cases, all new brgs and seals (still in boxes) think it's worth $200?

$200? not to me but that's a separate issue. I deal in busted crap and fix it to stockpile/resell..... so take that for what it's worth.

For all new bearings, seals and a set of cases..... probably is actually worth $200 because the parts from the dealer would be way more than that.
