Dakotademon7's build gone addictive

Well, it's all coming together good. Just got my HJR ported jug back today. Have my gaskets, so I'm ready to bolt it on. Waiting on my carb from jeewiz. The shipping address was not complete so it's held up in shipping. We made a trade deal. My carb and boot for his carb and boot. Got mine ready to go as soon as I get his. Still have to work on my air filter sheild. It's very close to ridding, just a couple of small details to take care of. I have alot of before and after pics of my jug to post. I just have to go to a wifi and upload them from my iPhone .

hurry up demon. i wanna see what hjr can do. what size carb are you going from and to?

edit: see it was 36mm now. that's not overkill? just port work and the head right? of the course the f7 too.

Sweet! great turnaround on that port job! I've heard alot of good things about HJR.

Don't forget to leak test that baby before you fire it up!

I think with all my mod's it should be rite at the max. I'll be adding a plus 3 crank over the winter. I think it's still going to be better then a 30mm.

Yes I agree you'll be fine with a 36, I lost a smidge bit of low end with the 35 but don't ever plan on racing so it's no big deal, It's manageable, and will take some getting use to but man does she scream from 1/2 to 3/4 throttle in 4 ,5, 6th!

He was a real cool guy to talk to and seemed to really understand what would be best for my mod's and ridding style. I picked him because he didn't talk BS about other builders.

I'll be getting one from you maybe tomarrow.

I really appriciate builders that listen to what I want then tell me in detail what i should do! he sounds like one of those guys!
I didn't get my carb from him as i found it way cheaper elsewhere but he was very nice to talk to!

I have seen some of his banshee work, a few guys around here have some sick azz shees and use him.

I can't wait! Got my little rubber boots for my brake hub to. Still need to barrow a flywheel puller from 86 notch and put my new seals in.

Cool. PM sent. I just have to check with the wife to see if I need to put more money in the bank. Don't want to be short on a bill. My wife is the accountant .lol. If it was up to me, I would have Elka shocks and be eating tuna helper by candle light.lol

BWAAAHAAAAAAA! I love kraft macaroni and cheese!!!

Was looking at my jug and seen he even gave it a hone. It's cool he didn't charge extra for it but now I have to spend extra money for new rings. I fresh hone and rings will do it good.
