D slide carb...what do you guys think?

ok thanks for the heads up.....is that a specific carb that any of you might recommend? it doesn't ahve to be a keihin could be anything that works well and will give a good boost in power for a mildly modified engine. i am just curious really....also if you could say why its a good carb, and not just cuz you have it lol. any explanations would be helpful! or if there is a sticky on thisalready point me to it and save your fingers

If I were you I would get a port job first= 10 hp=275 bux or
Carb, boot, filter=5hp=250 bux
Any larger carb will give you gains

I have that carb in a 30mm. Gave me great results. And that's not really a bad deal in my opinion. The 30mm ran me $160 online.

what do yall think would be a good carb for me i have an 03 and the mods i have are fmf fatty pipe with silencer and boysen reeds bored to an 220k&n filterand i think that is it!! what yall think would be a good carb for those mods??

28mm=great botom, ok top
30mm=ok bottom, good top
33mm=bad bottom, great top

I have a 32mm Mikuni on a stock cylinder bored to 68mm. I have my head shaved/milled .020" and I had the carb tuned at a shop because I just couldnt get it right. At the same time I swapped TORS out and put a twist throttle in. They said they needed to adjust the throttle cable to, maybe I over looked it and that was the whole problem IDK. But the 32 I love it no problems yet. I have stock header pipe, but bored out the muffler, it has nothing in it from the connector to the tip out the back. and a K&n open airbox
