This is my first post i dont really know how to use this thing sorry if it doesnt make since.

What is better to do to my cylinder either have it bored or resleeved, the piston i had in it was 67mm and the rings ended up fusing to the piston. and scared the cylinder sleeve. So really my big question is what would be the better choice. Getting it resleeved or just bore it out to 68mm?

You would need to have a machine shop measure the bore for you and they can determine whether or not the sleeve still has life left or not. It would be better to get it measured and have them bore it (if the sleeve still has life) than to get the whole cylinder re-sleeved

Ya if your only at 67 there's plenty of meat there to work with! don't have to jump to 68mm if it can be done at 67.25, 67.50, 67.75, 68.00, 68.25!!! all depends on how bad the scrapes are! Send it to Kenoconnerracing.com, he will check it/bore it and let ya know what ya need to do, he also sells all the parts too! Complete 2-stroke shop! All work done in his shop!

Okay thank you for the information. I have it at a yamaha shop close to me right now. I will call the guy tomorrow and talk to him about that. Thank you for the information

Make sure they chamfer the ports when they are done boring it or you will be going to them again very soon! If they don't know what you are talking about , grab your cylinder and run very far away! I:I

For Sure ! , But if you Do not know what Chamfer means , Basically they grind down the sleeve at all openings so It will not Catch on your rings and Cause premature Failure !
