hi guys, i have some questions about cylinder, please help me
DSCI2883.JPG

how to check if a cylinder is a little bit to the left or to the right after bored , if it is not in the center so the connecting rod is not in the middle of piston, the engine will not run well

how to check that , make sure that the cylinder is good, thanks you guys so much

If you suspect that the bore is offset, it will be apparent by the amount of meat left at the bottom of the bore.

The opposing wall thicknesses will be different.

Measure each side of the sleeve with vernier calipers
All the measurements will be the same if it's perfectly centered

thanks you guys, this check is for original sleeve but the question is if the cylinder is bored, and then put on a new sleeve. So the cylinder can be offset but the opposing wall thicknesses will be the same.

If the cylinder has been bored offset, the measurements of the wall thickness will differ.

If it is a left to right discrepancy you are concerned about, the small end play on the wrist pin will more than compensate.
