What's goin on guys, just had a quick question about the cylinder head on our blasters. I picked up a nice head for $12, I didn't need it but for the price and condition its in I figured why not. So far I painted it in high temp flat black and sanded the tops of the cooling fins ( yes I stole the idea from some people on here, it looked so sick I couldn't resist haha ). I was gonna lap the gasket mating surface down a little bit but I wanted to make sure it wasn't possibly done already. If anyone knows the stock height of the gasket mating surface id really appreciate it !

you'll be just fine with a light lapping

a better idea is to send it to ken oconnor racing and have it shaved and the combustion chamber modified, it'll really wake that lil blaster up !!!

Thanks bro ... I'm plannin on sendin my flywheel to Ken to get lightened, it'd probly be a good idea to send him my flywheel and head at the same time and save a few bucks on shipping. You have any idea how much the head work might cost ( ballpark ) ?

That ain't bad at all ... I e-mailed him about the flywheel and he said its $75 now cause prices went up but he didn't update his website yet, hopefully the head mod isn't too much more now. I could live with $140 or $150 for both. Thanks for the help and advice, your the man bro !
