cylinder boring..

i have buy a yamaha blaster cylinder and now i want to know witch piston will fit there.. i measure 66.93.. witch piston will fit there

Have the bore measured by a shop, then order a correct piston after they hone/bore it

If a cylinder has to be bored it is advisable that the machinist have the piston in hand, especially with forged pistons.

i go at school in diesel mecanic, i have measure my cylinder there with a micrometer.. 66.75 is .030 over and 67mm is .040 over... so mine is like .035 over,, i just want to know witch one will fir the best..

Is it a new or used cylinder?

Measure the bore for out of round and for taper.

its a used cylinder... i have do this with the teacher so its great and this cylinder had 66.93mm bore
