ok so was wondering if dealerships bor cylinders. my friend just picked up an 02 rm125 and it needs a bore the piston done have anynumbers on it so dont know how to measure it and what piston to buy? what ramge do bores run i seen online 35 per hole and 10 ship

If you have access to micrometer and either measure the piston or the cylinder.

You dont have any good machine shops around your area you could take it to. I think a stealership will rob you on the price.

I know my local dealership does everything. All your good dealerships will have a parts and service department. I went to a local dirtbike and atv repair shop. They did it all and had it done in 2 days. They were also cheaper by about $75 and were gonna take about a week. I always look at this way. I would rather support a local shop then a dealership. Im sure there has to be a machine shop in your area that does race motor work and can hook you up.

You will have to ask if they do the smaller atv cylinders. We have a Napa with a machine shop, but they can only bore auto engines. The dealership where I live charges $80 for a bore and needs the piston you plan on using to get the clearnance right. Good luck...
