ok a while back when i first joined the site i found a user who had a thread for his blaster rebuild. I dont remeber who, but he customly designed full under body skidplates including the a-arms and the swinger out of a street sign. Now i was wondering if anyone else has done this and if so if you would please post pics to see what its like and how you would go about mounting it on. Anything would be great! thanks

use cardboard, make templates, then get these

ps dont use street signs. they wont do anything to protect your quad. they are much to thin and bend and get banged up easily. use some real steal or alluminum

Well here is what I got- It's a piece of ramp from harbor freight, i put ramps on my trailer and had a piece left over. I wish i would of made a frame for it and bolted it on but i tack welded it to the underside It has been test very well on AWK mountain more than 5 times and has survived so I'd have to say was a good idea- I didn't do the a-arms as i'm not a fan of those they hold too much dirt and sh*t!-Bob

My dad made my Skid Plate out of 16 ga stainless steel about 16 years ago, and it is bent to bolt between the foot pegs and frame and lower bumper bolts to frame. But it did vibrate alot so i added some conduit clamps...
