cross country tips anyone....?

yeah i run woods racing a lot. First the blaster has a short wheel base, so you want to widen it. think about it, you are running with the 450's and they are wider then you will ever be, so if you are a half way decent woods rider you will be fine, just make sure your back isn't wider then your front. As for gearing it will depend on what kind of terrain you are running, and that is mostly where you are from. If there are a lot of hills and not to much open space run a smaller front but is there is more wide open area just run stock.

P.s just so every one knows woods racing isn't totally about about the machine, it is mostly about the rider. There is one guy with a stock beat up 300 ex and he tears the sh*t out of some of the 450s out there every weekend. so it is not always about whats under you but whats between your legs

I want to start cross country racing in my first race i didnt do too bad but im looking for any tips from anyone who knows, september 21 is the next race and im hoping to go if my dad can do the trip so if anyone can help me with tips i would appreciate, tips like what new mods i have to do to my blaster, handling, the takeoff, stuff like that.. thank youI:I

You cant have much stock because your going to be slow and wont be able to keep up with any of the bigger quads and you need to be realy fast at the start.
