ok i got this 1989 CR 80 on a package deal well i pulled the motor apart today it needs a piston surprislingly its still on stock bore ok but bad crank needs clutch basket inner clutch hub new clutch i figure would be about $400 to fix the bike.. so i found a 1998 cr 80 motor needs crank bearing still runs though.. or a 1982 suzuki RM 125 (needs electrical parts whole bike) im leaning towards the 125 since if i spend the money i want it modded so i have one question if i get the 125 motor in the 80 can i still just run the 1 radiator or will i have to go to the 2 radiators? need to know this ASAP by 2marro

ok im not really worried i was just kinda never really seen it done before and didnt know if those 125s really needed those 2 radiators.. and dont got the money and i dont think they make them for my year?

If you restored the bike it could be worth a lot to a collector.

I think its a great project! we don't see enough of these builds, and when your done you'll have a fast light bike. You probably won't have to do too much to make it fit either, unlike my kx80 blaster, its all cut up and I have to stretch the frame, then theres the pipe.... plus its going to be a bit heavy. I think you should go for it, you have nothing to lose.

ok sweet..these old bikes up here are woth nothing but im gonna keep the frame and stuff just in case i want to put it back together..

but i think it would be sweet a powervalved 125 in an 80 with a stretched swingarm.. only problem i see with this motor is the pipe like they look so tall so ill have to cut it down and shorten the silencer but i think it would be sweet it i could get the motor to run under $50

im gonna call him again after i get the ok from pops, mom said she would drive to get it
