okay how much will a +3 stroker crank,ported to run on race gas cost.
now how much will a +3 stoker crank,240 kit,ported to run on race gas
how much will a +4 stroker crank,240kit,ported to match and run on race gas

motor number 1 how much hp?
motor number 2 how much hp?
motor number 3 how much hp?

these are all gonna be with a f7 pipe and 35mm carb

+4 crank $180 plus case trenching
portjob $150-300 (depending on builder)
240 cylinder $200-600 (depending on cylinder or sleeve or whatever)

ported stock stroke can make 30+hp
+3 crank and portedstock jug +30hp
+3 240 can make up to 50 hp
+4 240 bout the same..most expensive way to go

so pretty much If i start of a stock blaster im looking into 1000 just into the motor then the pipe will be a good 300$ then the carb another 200$ so about 1500$ and this will be done or am i missing a big picture here sounds like its not enoght
 
well a carb wont cost that much unless you buy brand new. you can catch good carbs on ebay for under 60 all the time.
 
yeah buy used carb....used pipe if you can get one...hell any used in good shape part is a better idea. kennedy makes great power out of blaster. all depends on what kind of riding you do also...

if you pay the high side of all that, yeah you got it right. if you go +4 crank its more cuz you have to trench the cases. the+3 is a stuffer. no trenching. you can have a nice engine w/o the crank. 30 hp is a lot for a little blasty....its about double stock hp.. they are like 17 hp stock

crank prices i got off ebay. also the 240 kit i got off ebay.gave a range, cuz there were a ton...the cheapest (not always best) is a resleeve. have a 240 sleeve put in your stock jug.

a/m cylinders have a tripple exhaust port. vitos TEP is restrictive, and kinda useless. they use a factory style casting, with a 240 sleeve, then add the TEP. still a great and cheap cylinder

the best is the CT cylinder. i believe they have a better port design and TEP design.

there are still great ways to build a pretty bad ass engine for cheap, just gotta know how..
 
Why not just save the money and buy a car or something or just put it in the bank?

why do you say about a car in every thread 1st of im 15 I live in ny full lisencs isnt until 17 hear if I work with my dad and I work at a shop i can easily bring in 1500$ a month so in 1 year I can have a good ammont and plus my parents are helping me with my 1st car so I dont have to worry about a car right now

wow, i wish i was bringing home $1500 a month when i was 15. what do you do for that kind of money at such a young age?

saturdays I work constructon with my dads company and do a lot of hard labor.......then on sunday I work at my grandpas auto body shop.........then during the week I work at ktm dealership after school 2-6........I work 7 days a week..........your never gonna make good moeny messing around you got do what you gotta do to make money
 
I came to finnaly what im gonna do +3 stroker,ct 240 cylinder mx race ported,head cut,full f7 pipe,aluminum airbox,38mm carb,timing plate +4 i want this engine to run on 110 octane...............and when I have this motor out im gonna work the chassie with +3 Aarms,+4 swinger,+4 axle........full pb plastics the whole nine yards..................................this blaster is gonna have a yamaha blue frame with white pb carbon fiber plastics
 
yea i would go with the 3 mill 240. i went with the 4mill 240 cause i already had the stroker. so i just had it ported and port matched for the 4 mill. i had mine built by kennedy.
