Cheap mods

Hey guys I'm new here so bare with me...anyways I have a stock(k&n air filter)2001 blaster and I smoke everyone I ride with,besides one of my friends he has a 2003 650 Kawasaki prarie,I beat him off the jump but he catches me after
I get in 6th gear,what mods can I do to out run him I don't have a huge budget I'm only 14 I have about $300 what can I do to stay with him or beat him

Well I'd like to argue,many of times iv pushed my friends prarie to the limits and the most iv got was 67

I just took what my brother said lol, i couldnt care less about kawasakis...

Anyways.

New pipe would be the best thing for you to do, and if you get one cheap enough, do a head mod and porting.

I have yet to do a head mod and porting, but im like you, gotta make money to spend money I:I (i already put $500 towards my new quad. getting it and piping it)

Yea same I hate Kawasaki I like yamaha and Honda,iv already ported it I'm going to pick it up today and ill see how it runs I had some clutch work done to it

What can I do cheap to make it look better,I want to cut the fenders but I don't know shy kind of patterned I want

Heres my cut fenders
You can bend the rears all the way against the frame with no breaking


Heres more on the front fenders




Im starting to like the look with no rear fenders.... (yes, soon i will remove oil injection lol)
Or maybe just cut them for a little white strip around the seat

The bare bones look is good, but there is an invitation for the back end to amputate a leg or two.

I much prefer to have legs attached to my testicles!

I ride dirt/muddish trails, lots of sticks.

The front fenders do no good for me anyways, with the +3 arms.
I also think the front fenders are kind of pointless because they only block stuff going straight up, not straight at the rider.


As for the back, Its just mud mainly, but i have a banshee axle or something (lol) so tires are out past them anyway!

Yes, i worry about that. But you are supposed to stay on the quad no?

I plan to sharpen my footpegs, i would like some big ones with heel guards, im not putting any craptor ones on my blaster!
