Do not put a new chain on those old sprockets, get some new ones.

Old worn sprockets will wear out and stretch a new chain in just a few miles.

Have you got the back end jacked up, as the ramp on the chain seems abnormally steep.

The ramp angle of the chain over the roller looks excessive to me, are you using a longer shock?

I always thought that the chain should just rest on the roller with no rider on it, with the chain like that the roller is going to take a beating when you get air.

As to lubricating the chain, take it off, fully clean it and then soak it in chain lube.
