Hey Guys So Im reading more about the TORS removal. Mine has the big block on the top of the carb. Is this the TORS? Im tring to put my carb back on but my thumb throttle cable wont spring back for some reason It was working before I took the carb off it there a special way this sleeve goes back in the carb? I belive I have it all lined up. When inserting the sleeve and spring that point goes down into the jet hole correct? I opned the throttle housing and all looks ok to me but I can tell for some reason the cable dosent have anything pulling it back. :-/

Ill Probly get the Award for worst vid on this one but here is whats going on. The Thumb throttle and the spring seem to be out sync some way lol

There is a groove cut into one side of the slide and a small tab in the throat of the carb toward the bottom. You have to line these up for the slide to go in right. If you have to force the cap on, compressing the spring at the same time, you have it wrong. If you do get it together the wrong way, the needle will not seat right and when you crank it, it ill rev out of control. I did this on my sons 110 with auto clutch. Push started it in reverse and it took off across the street and tore down my neighbors mailbox. It was freaking HILARIOUS!!! It took me a few minutes to chase it down and shut it off! Yeah, I learned the hard way!
As quoted above you have to turn the slide slowly until the groove lines up then the needle and slide will drop fully in. Once this happens screw the cap back on, over the spring, tightly (TORS head will not matter here) and your throttle cable will lose the slack, feel right again, etc. Just take your time, try it again turning the slide until the groove lines up, you'll get it...

It's all gotta line up then--------> PLOP. It falls right in, secure together and ya get ur throttle back.
K man Thanks for the advice I see the slit where your talking about and I got it to drop in properly but for some reason it still acting like the cable is stretched out or something :-/ Gonna mess with it again this afternoon.
