Whats up fellas i did some searching but couldnt find the info i needed so i could use some help from you guys. So here is the setup im going with .20 over piston, my own P&P, milled head, vitos high comp head gasket, vforce3 reed valves, reed spacer, custom airbox, uni clam on foam filter, FMF fatty w/ shorty silencer and im going to play with the timeing. I have a late 80's polaris 440twin 2 stroke that has 2 carbs that are between 30&34mm you guys think i could run one of them on the blaster? or would it just be too much carb for the setup?

I don't see any problem running the bigger carby, the piston will take what it wants and will take it easier from a bigger throat. May be a bit of an over kill though because your mods can be met by a stock Mikuni if you jet it right.

Thanks for the imput fellas i guess ill try it out when its back togeather. The jug is going to my machine guy at the end of the week so it will be running soon.

I wouldn't use hi-comp gasket if you mill head. Also consider sending the head out to be re-chambered rather than straight milled, jmho.

Im not taking alot off the head so im not worried about the gasket, And i really dont want to spend anymore cash on this quad my motor is letting go in my mustang so im putting cash away for that for a build over the winter. I dont do any crazy riding or racing just some trails and i ride on the streets during snow storms i just need a lil more power from the blaster im over 200lbs so ill take every ounce of HP that i can get.
